EXAMINATION RULES & GRIEVANCE

EXAMINATION RULES

• Students must carry their college ID card and admit card to the examination hall
• Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited
• Students must report 15 minutes before the examination
• Malpractice will result in cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action
• Minimum 75% attendance required to appear in examinations
• Students must maintain silence in and around the examination hall

UNFAIR MEANS POLICY

Any student found using unfair means during examinations will be:
• Expelled from the examination hall
• Awarded zero marks in that paper
• Subject to disciplinary action as per University norms
• Reported to the University of Burdwan

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

Students who have grievances related to examinations may:
1. Submit a written application to the Controller of Examinations
2. Apply for re-checking/re-evaluation within 15 days of result declaration
3. Approach the Principal for unresolved grievances

RE-EVALUATION PROCESS

• Apply to the Examination Section with the prescribed fee
• Re-evaluation is done by an external examiner
• Results of re-evaluation are final
• Fee is refunded if marks increase after re-evaluation
