The Career Guidance and Placement Cell at St. Xavier's College, Burdwan assists students in career planning, skill development, and placement support.

Objectives:

To provide comprehensive career counselling and guidance to students
To facilitate campus placements by connecting students with potential employers
To organize skill development programmes, workshops, and seminars
To help students prepare for competitive examinations and higher studies

Individual career counselling sessions
Resume writing and interview preparation workshops
Career fairs and campus recruitment drives
Information on entrance examinations (CAT, MAT, GATE, NEET, JAM, etc.)
Guidance for higher studies abroad and within India
Alumni mentorship programmes connecting students with professionals
