The Department of Biotechnology at St. Xavier's College, Burdwan is equipped with four specialized laboratories to support practical education and research:

Microbiology Laboratory — Dedicated to microbiological studies, culture techniques, and related experiments.
Biochemistry Laboratory — Supports biochemical analysis, enzyme studies, and related practical work.
Plant Tissue Culture and Phyto-chemistry Laboratory — Facilitates plant tissue culture techniques and phytochemical analysis.
